Witchcraft 7800
Volvo Penta (Diesel) 300hp coupled via a Jack shaft so that you have an un-interupted transom. Volvo Penta duo prop stern drive. Motor has always been maintain by Volvo Penta Mechanics and genuine Volvo Parts. Engine has 810 hours approximately. Feel free to contact Don Mortons to verify the engine maintenance. I have never compromised on maintenance as i commonly go south of Kangaroo Island.
Boat has super long range fuel tank, 800 litres giving a range of 640 nautical miles / 1200km at 20knts. Boat has a cruise speed of 18 to 28knts. This boat can go from North Haven in Adelaide to Port Lincoln and back to Adelaide without refueling, easily. Top speed of 33.6knts refer to photo.
Simrad electronics latest model and are less than 1 year old.
Boat has Self Draining Floor which is much higher than a clayton 7.4m.
Deck wash which is incorpoarted into the handrails.
There are extensive hand rails which are are 32mm diameter which are far better for grip, not 25mm. The hand rails go all round the boat which enable safe access to the front of the boat. Given the flat foredeck of the boat, this allows you to stand on the front and deal with a fouled anchor where as the clayton does not.
Drive on and off trailer. Can easily be launched and retrieved by one person.
To many extras to list.
The second video is of the boat cruising from North Haven to Kangaroo island at 27knts / 50km/hr.
This boat willout perform any boat of similar size, it is set up for the serious fishing person. My last trip started at North Haven marina and we went to Port Lincoln. The trip took about 8 hours 30 mins cruising at about 20knts as it was a bit rough going from Althorpe Island to Thistle Island.
The windows are toughened glass, same specification as the prawn boat windows. If a wave was to come over the cabin the water simply runs off the deck out though the scuppers.
This boat is boat super strong. This boat was not built for profit, it was built for my love of innovation for boats and the sea. During the build of the hull great care was taken when constructing the subsructure of the hull and the floor such to ensure no leaks into the sealed sub floor compartments. It is quiet common for the floor to leak when the transom scuppers are cut. When the scupper holes where cut in this hull the floor was then reglassed to the transom, where as most boat builder just put flow coat over this penetration.
Only reason I'm selling is I have a brand new one coming soon ! This boat is ready to go and is offered at a fraction of the new boat cost.
