Description: Gem 550
Designed by ocean racers for Europe's micro-tonner class. Designer was Rob Humphreys. The boat is in very good condition. The Mackay road trailer was new as of December 2019. Has a Honda 5hp 4 stroke motor with a longshaft. Displacement is 520kg and can be retrieved and towed easily. Will comfortably sleep three people. It comes with 2 mainsails, a genoa, three jibs including a storm job (brand new). Has a symetrical spinnaker with chute. There is a heavy duty cover for the boat and heavy duty cover for the mainsail. The dagger style keel (180kg) is lifted by an electric motor. The electrics have been refurbished and the boat comes with both VHF and 27Mhz radios. Easy and fun to sail.
