Second owner of this regrettable sale. This boat has always been in a shed on trickle charges and started regularly. You will not find this model in this condition with this many extras. Originally packaged with its 135A Honda 4 Stroke Ultra Low Emission Program Fuel Injected Outboard motor with 998.4 hours on it. The motor is fitted out with a Vengance stainless steel long shaft propeller. The drive on Seacraft boat trailer was built in 2016 upgrading the original package for this colour coded well made design. Everything including the cushions are in excellent condition. There is one seem coming apart on the rear seat (pictured).

Attention: due to changes in legislation this boat will need new life jackets. It currently has 5 x AP1 jackets however, I don't think they are compliant as from 2025. It also will need a new set of flare's.

While there are numerous specialist designs available most trailerboat buyers are looking for a multi-purpose craft and the 585R fills the bill admirably. Haines Hunter invested quite a deal of research and development in this hull to have it meet performance expectations - from offshore fishing to inshore cruising and water sports. An integral bowsprit with inset anchor roller is a neat feature at the stem and carries the overall length from the 5.85m implied by the model name to an overall length of 6m. The beam of 2.4m gives a spacious interior and the cuddy cabin offers shelter and overnighting ability in vee berths that convert to a double.

The cabin is both practical and appealing; the small floor area is simply flowcoated, but the cabin sides are shelved and upholstered. There is lots of under-seat stowage and an overhead hatch. The latter opens for easy access for anchoring/mooring duties, with a generous anchor well under its own foredeck hatch. A stainless steel guardrail protects the foredeck and forward side decks, while low-profile grab rails run up the transom quarters.
