The Intrepid 323 is a premium day boat, primarily designed for cruising but versatile enough to be outfitted for fishing as well. Intrepids are semi-custom boats, and features such as dive doors, T-tops, leaning posts, and rod holders are optional.

Like all late-model Intrepids, the 323 runs on a transverse single-step hull. The 323 Open features a traditional centre console deck plan with optional forward seating. A transom door and insulated port-side fish box are standard in the cockpit, and small dive platforms flank the outboard engines.

Standard features include a console electronics display, trim tabs, anchor chute, washdowns, and on the 323 Open a console seat that slides aside for access to the head compartment.

The 323's high-performance stepped hull is vacuum-bagged and fully cored. A popular model, the 323 Open, with twin 300HP outboards, delivers a top speed of approximately 43 knots.

Repowered in 2023 with new 300HP Mercury Verado V8 outboards with Bravo stainless steel counter rotational propellors that have only run for 15 hours approximately.
