A popular boat in their day the Markham pro-fish series came in a half cabin layout and the Bow Rider series which was the more popular choice here in the Mandurah region. Ideally suited to getting the whole family out on the water for the day with a couple of scoop nets and a set of crab drop pots. Spending the day between boundary island and Port Bouvard chasing those epic Blue swimmer crabs. What a perfect summers day on the water.

Your standard bow rider layout with swivelling helm seats in a semi wrap around finish super comfortable for the run back home in the afternoon, a pair of rear 1/4 seats built into the transom for those that want a little more breeze in their face and for the super keen amongst us room for 2 to 4 people to squeeze into the bow. Seating for at least 6 is not always easy in a boat of only 5.2m. The Markham 522 BR seems to do it with ease.

Plenty of storage for a boat in this class with long side pockets through the cockpit, storage forward of the foot wells at the helm, additional storage under the rear 1/4 seating and a decent amount under the bow cushions. This class of boat can sometimes lack available storage but again the Markham 522 seems to offer plenty of options.

A compact helm with a simple layout is all we can expect from a 17 foot boat. A brace of analogue gauges, room for the 4 gang switch panel and a mount for the Lowrance hook electronics. Not overly crowded and manageable with the side mount engine control neatly fitted to the side.

Powered by a Johnson 90 Hp four stroke outboard showing just 199 hours at the time of listing this is just a baby still with a lifetime ahead of it. Serviced in 2023 with almost no hours since as the new boat arrived on the scene.

This is just the boat for hours of fun around the local waters or perhaps a few clicks offshore chasing fat summer yellow fin whiting. Ive spent plenty of time over the years in boats like this in our waters and know just how much fun can be had with friends and family.

Currently sitting on a jinker Dunbier roller series trailer with a swing away draw bar for ease of storage, simple to launch and retrieve and a breeze to maintain.
