Sonata 7 trailerable yacht in exceptionally original condition - the hull, down below, spars and fittings. Currently kept on a secure hardstand near Goolwa SA, with easy access to launching ramps, marina facilities, the River Murray, Lake Alexandrina and the Coorong.

Many recent upgrades including professionally replaced standing and running rigging; Tacktick instruments; trailer professionally serviced (replaced bearings, brake-lines and tyres); Suzuki long-leg outboard also professionally serviced; new AGM deep cycle battery and solar panel (outboard also charges the battery); all spars are in excellent condition (new spinnaker pole); good suite of sails (symmetrical spinnaker like new); Furlex jib furler; all winches serviced.

Easy to tow, rig, and launch, Sonata 7's are a great choice for those new to sailing or the more experienced who perhaps prefer short-handed sailing.

Fully optioned back in the day when she was first purchased from Sundance Marine in Huntingdale Victoria, the original owner kept her so well maintained that she still has the original hull finish, topsides and deck. We are only the 2nd owners.

Sonata yachts have a very strong following and through the reputable Sonata Yacht Association, heaps of information and support is available to new members for a very affordable fee, from how-to YouTube videos on launching and stepping masts, to learning to sail and maintaining these well-made yachts.
The very active association has a full calendar of events that include cruising and racing, to assisting newbies to learn the ropes and safety sessions for new and old hands alike. Highly recommended.
