NEW Bavaria SR38

After the Bavaria SR41, the Bavaria SR38 celebrated its world premiere in January 2022. Together with the BAVARIA development team, Italian designer Marco Casali drew up the sporty, elegant lines of the motor yacht, which measures 12.28 m long and 3.85 m wide and comes with a bathing platform as standard. Particularly striking are the sweeping hull shape, large window areas in the superstructure, and the generous spaces on the bow and stern.

With our new concepts, we offer a fresh approach to life on board while retaining all the advantages customers have always expected from a BAVARIA yacht. The SR38 demonstrates creativity in the design of the cockpit and superstructure, reflecting the fact that life on modern motor yachts primarily takes place on deck. In addition to the classic hardtop version, which can optionally be closed with a door, the SR38 is also available as an open version with a low windscreen. The hardtop can be converted into a stable Bimini with sunroof, or enjoyed as a fully Open Top, combining the comfort of a hardtop with the sporty appeal and handling of an open yacht, as Marco Casali explains.

The SR38 provides plenty of space on board, with an intelligent floor plan both above and below deck. Two generous cabins and a spacious lounge offer comfort and privacy for all guests. "When designing the SR38, we started with a blank sheet but with a clear vision of the advantages of a BAVARIA yacht and the key elements of the SR-LINE we wanted to reinterpret. The entire interior was recreated precisely as a model in our development studio, giving us a true sense of space alongside 3D computer models, " says Norbert Leifeld, Product Manager responsible for the SR38 development.

Below deck, the SR38 offers spacious cabins with large beds, including a forward island bed (1.98 m × 1.37 m), and an aft cabin that can feature two single beds (2.00 m × 0.8 m) or one large bed (2.00 m × 2.00 m) with a separate 1.90 m chaise longue. Guests enjoy a head with shower and glass door, while the interior layout is available as open or with a closed foreship cabin, allowing maximum flexibility for onboard living. On deck, the aft cockpit offers multiple seating and sunbathing options, a large L- or U-shaped seating area, and a spacious wet bar, making entertaining with family and friends effortless. A high-functional helmstand, co-driver seat, and sunbathing area ensure comfortable control, while handrails and high railing across the entire yacht provide maximum safety.
