NEW Sportsman Heritage 321 Centre Console

The Heritage 321 is the new flagship of the series and the boat that shows what the Heritage idea looks like with no size constraint. At 9.8 metres on a 3.3-metre beam with 23 degrees of transom deadrise, it shares its running surface with the Open 322, so it runs offshore like a serious 32-footer. What it does differently is spend every spare centimetre of deck on the people aboard.

Seating is the whole design. The bow carries wraparound seating with backrests and integrated drink holders around an electronically actuated table that moves between dining height, a mid-height sun deck and flush to the deck, with a removable Sileather sundeck cushion over the top. An extensible magnetic chaise lounge pulls out from the console front. Aft, a removable magnetically installed bench seats five to six edge to edge, the leaning post carries a mezzanine-style rear-facing seat, and side entry doors swing a full 180 degrees with telescoping boarding ladders on both sides.

The wet-and-dry detail is where it separates itself. The console opens to an electric porcelain toilet with overboard discharge and holding tank, a freshwater shower and sink, wood-accented cabinets on gas struts and a large horizontal window. On deck there are dual freshwater washdowns at the bow and leaning post, two retractable 6-metre hose reels for fresh and raw water, a Scanstrut ATMOS air station for inflating towables, a sandbar cooler reached from outside the boat, a thru-hull windlass with 91 metres of rope and foot controls, and a stern anchor compartment supplied with gear. Fishing is still properly covered: twin 61-litre transom aquarium livewells on a pressure selector valve, a pair of 227-litre insulated macerated in-deck fish boxes and two 114-litre midship storage boxes.

The helm runs premium adjustable captain's chairs in Sileather, an anti-fatigue pad and an integrated tempered glass windscreen with actuated vent, behind SportLink factory integration delivering Garmin displays, JL Audio, digital switching and a full NMEA 2000 network. The six-leg D-tube fibreglass hardtop is bent rather than welded and carries an integrated ski tow pylon, moulded-in navigation lights with a docking function and Lumitec 18-inch Razor spot and flood bars at 10,000 lumens each. Seakeeper Ride comes standard and trims out up to 70 per cent of underway pitch and roll, with a Seakeeper gyro available and its pod already built into the stringer grid.
