NEW Sportsman Masters 247 Bay Boat

Sportsman call the 247 the iconic top-selling 24-foot bay boat, reimagined, and the redesign focused on the things owners actually notice: more cockpit space, a redesigned console on a D-tube frame that removes the deck legs, and an integrated tempered glass windscreen. At 7.42 metres on a 2.57-metre beam, drawing 0.36 metres with the engine up, it is a boat that will fish a flat at dawn and be back on the trailer by lunch.

The livewell arrangement is twin 95-litre insulated aquarium wells at the transom running a Pro-Air system, plus a console-front livewell hidden under the seat cushion that converts to a drink cooler. Forward there is a large bow fish box, lockable bow rod storage for ten rods, four flush Gemlux gunwale holders, folding under-gunwale racks and five rocket launchers overhead.

The helm is a SeaStar tilt system with more than 40 degrees of travel and a stainless Sportsman wheel, behind a dual-chair leaning post with flip-up bolsters. Boat-in-a-Box 2.0 rigging puts the electronics on removable boards with dual batteries and a selector switch. SportLink brings Garmin and JL Audio from the factory, with two IPX6-rated 10-watt wireless chargers at the helm.

What genuinely separates this generation is the Seakeeper Ride system: actuator-based stabilisation cutting pitch and roll up to 70 per cent on a 24-foot bay boat.
