ZENITH
Ramsay style houseboats have had a long tradition of being on Lake Eildon, built in the 1970's and 1980's. They have been popular with families, over this journey, in providing an affordable holiday home experience on Lake Eildon. When walking on Zenith I was pleasantly surprised with its open layout and presentation.
Zenith ticks a number of boxes as a great family holiday home for a family commencing their journey on Lake Eildon.
The central kitchen opens onto a rear lounge with large windows to embrace the magnificent scenery of Lake Eildon. The rear lounge has a comfortable 4 seater corner couch to relax on while enjoying the scenery or just watching the TV as well as a dining setting with glass topped table. This opens onto the rear deck including the duckboard with plenty of space to enjoy the water or cook the BBQ.
Unusual for a Ramsay is the upstairs area which provides a double bed and second lounge. This second lounge is important for houseboat design for families as it provides a second entertainment space for the other generation. The lounge opens onto a rear deck to enjoy the sunshine.
The other interesting and positive for this Ramsay houseboat is the Twin Mercruiser M470 four cylinder motors. These will certainly get Zenith to your favourite inlet on the Lake comfortably as well as aiding manoeuvrability.
Regarding Solar Electrics there is a large bank of house batteries being fed by 4 solar panels. The Inverter is a BP Solar 400watt combined with a Enja 30amp Battery Charger. There is a Honda EU20i Generator to backup the system. Zenith was out of the water in 2022 with a GMW CHIR issued.
Zenith has 3 bedrooms, plus you can use the couches at the front to sleep a couple more. These are serviced by a good sized bathroom with a Everhot20 hot water service proving plenty of hot water for the shower.
Zenith in many ways is a unique Ramsay style houseboat that ticks many boxes for a family wishing to begin their journey on magical Lake Eildon creating those special memories that will last a lifetime; don't wait another 5 years as the kids will have grown up.
