Heesen Yachts Motor Yacht

YM is pleased to present the 2015/Refit 2026 Heesen Yacht MOUNA to the Australian market.

MOUNA, formerly BIJIN, is a 49.9m / 163'9" Heesen custom-built yacht delivered in February 2015 from Heesen's Oss shipyard in the Netherlands. This Heesen motor yacht combines Dutch construction with a fast, efficient Van Oossanen hull, exterior styling by Omega Architects and Studio AB, and a contemporary interior by Hot Lab Yacht & Design. Her aluminium hull and superstructure are complemented by teak decks and extensive teak detailing within the interior.

Guest Accommodation and Layout

The yacht offers accommodation for 10 guests in five cabins and up to 11 crew. The 61 m² main deck master suite includes his-and-hers dressing rooms and dual ensuite bathrooms. Two VIP double cabins are joined by a further double and twin cabin. MOUNA's layout supports private family cruising, entertaining and extended stays, with a strong connection between the interior spaces, aft beach club and outdoor decks.

2025 Interior and Exterior Refit

Her 2025 refit included a full exterior repaint supervised by Safinah Group, with Matterhorn White finish, refreshed detailing and renewed exterior hardware. The interior was comprehensively refreshed with new Loloey carpeting, Dedar curtains and fabrics, Vitra couches, Foglizzo leather, new bedheads, coffee tables and dining furniture, plus pieces from Minotti, Poliform, Exteta, Giorgio Armani Casa and Poltrona Frau. New Miele galley appliances were also installed.

Technology and AV/IT Upgrades

The AV and technology specification was substantially upgraded, including new Smart TVs throughout, twin Starlink systems, replacement AV/IT equipment, navigation upgrades, new switches and domotics, and updated air-conditioning controls. Engineering works have included generator upgrades, new air-conditioning condensers, stabiliser hydraulic components, stern thruster refurbishment and extensive power management improvements.

Performance and Engineering

Twin MTU 8V 4000 M63 diesel engines, rated at 1,341 hp each, provide a reported 15-knot cruising speed and 18.5-knot maximum speed. Zero-speed stabilisers provide comfort at anchor and underway. The hydraulically powered main mooring and thruster systems are designed to maintain manoeuvrability with a single main engine, while a secondary electro-hydraulic system provides hydraulic power in harbour. Upgraded generators and power management support efficient onboard operation.

Outdoor Living and Water Toys

Outdoor lifestyle features include a large sundeck with jacuzzi, bar and DJ booth, an aft beach club with gym and spa, and a generous water toy inventory. Two Xtender tenders are carried, with one new tender delivered in 2026. Earlier 2021 to 2022 works included tender refurbishment, new inflatable sponsons, stern drive and transom plate work, stabiliser and stern thruster refurbishment, air-conditioning controls, deck repairs and other engineering maintenance.

2026 Shipyard Programme

In spring 2026, MOUNA completed a comprehensive shipyard period including main engine top-end overhauls, a port generator 10,000-hour overhaul, class works with ABS, a new sundeck jacuzzi and a new gym in the converted beach club.

ENGINEERING WORKS
o Port generator head removed for inspection of bores and combustion spaces.
o Valve seals and injector seals all changed as a matter of course.
o HP pipework changed on both stabiliser actuators and both HP pumps.
o New oil cooler fitted for stabiliser system.
o Stern thruster pivoting section stripped and renovated with new pivots and seals.
o New FW pump fitted.
o A/C control system upgraded from analogue to digital, with new monitor and processor.
