YM is pleased to present CHAMPAGNE SEAS, a 49.98m (164ft) all-aluminium motor yacht built by Trinity Yachts and delivered in November 2012.
Designed externally by Geoff Van Aller and internally by J. C. Espinosa and Ramon Alonso, this Trinity motor yacht accommodates up to 12 guests in six staterooms across three guest decks. Her layout, recent refit history, aluminium construction and 23 knot maximum speed make her suited to private cruising, extended passages and entertaining.
The main deck is centred on a full beam master suite positioned forward, with 180-degree vertical windows, an elevated mezzanine sleeping level, owner's study, dressing area and his and hers ensuite facilities. The main saloon and dining saloon connect to the galley, which has island bar seating, while the aft deck provides an outdoor dining setting. This combination creates a practical flow between indoor and exterior living spaces.
Accommodation includes a VIP stateroom on the upper deck and four ensuite guest staterooms on the lower deck, comprising two queen cabins and two twin cabins. The upper deck sky lounge includes a bar, game table and fold down television, with aft deck dining for 12 and two sunpads. The sun deck adds a jacuzzi, alfresco dining for eight, wet bar, exercise equipment and twin sunpads. Crew accommodation is arranged forward on the lower deck, with three crew cabins and a crew mess.
CHAMPAGNE SEAS carries an Axopar 37 XC towed tender, a Zodiac rescue tender, two Yamaha WaveRunners and an extensive selection of water toys including eFoils, wing foils, kiteboards, motorised paddleboards, an inflatable slide, wakeboards, waterskis, a Seabob and five dive sets. A dedicated garage accommodates the main tender and water toys. The onboard entertainment system uses Crestron control with Apple TV, Kaleidescape and surround sound inside and across the exterior decks. Communications include Starlink, VSAT, Fleet Broadband and GMDSS.
Twin Caterpillar 3516C main engines, rated at 3,384 hp each, are coupled to Reintjes gearboxes and provide a maximum speed of 23 knots, with a reported cruising speed of 12 knots. Quantum zero speed stabilisers and a 150 hp Quantum QT-150 bow thruster support handling and guest comfort. Power generation is provided by two Northern Lights 130 kW generators. Two FCI watermakers produce 3,100 US gallons per day each, while the chilled water air conditioning system incorporates two new chillers installed in 2026. Navigation equipment includes a five monitor glass bridge, Furuno radars, Sperry gyro and autopilot, with a new Siemens S7-1500 alarm monitoring and control system installed in 2026.
The yacht has been subject to significant refit and upgrade programmes. In 2022, both main engines were rebuilt, the exterior was repainted in Alexseal, the steering and stabilisers were overhauled, the starboard generator was renewed and multiple electrical, air conditioning, safety and systems upgrades were completed. A complete interior refit in Fort Lauderdale from 2024 to 2025 introduced engineered wood flooring, new carpet, Majilite wall and overhead panels, serviced window shades and new beach club furniture. From October 2025 to February 2026, Atlas Shipyards in Perama, Greece, completed a major technical refit including shaft and running gear work, steering ram overhaul, generator servicing, deck machinery work, renewed valves and pumps, new Burmese teak on the swim platform, upgraded navigation and safety equipment, two new chillers and a new Siemens alarm monitoring and control system.
CHAMPAGNE SEAS is ABS classed, MCA LY2 compliant and Cayman Islands flagged. Her annual class survey concluded on 2 August 2026 with no deficiencies, while Port State Control in Italy on 1 August 2026 also recorded no deficiencies.

Hull Hauled out 14 October 2025. Below waterline sanded and antifouled, sea chests cleaned, new copper anodes, alloy work to bottom shell and swim platform, non-destructive testing, mast painted.
Running Gear Shafts withdrawn and NDT tested, new ORKOT starboard bracket bearing with laser alignment, propellers serviced.
Steering Rams overhauled, new seals and hoses, emergency valves replaced, rudders recalibrated.
Main Engines: Heat exchangers and aftercoolers cleaned and pressure tested, new alternator.
Generators: Full service, new AVR, injector and cooling fans.
Deck Machinery: Both windlasses fully overhauled, bow thruster power pack serviced, new anchor shackles.
Systems Valves and overboard spool pieces renewed, new heaters and circulation pumps, day tank cleaned and certified.
