RAMPAGE 38 EXPRESS SENSATIONAL SEA BOAT AND EASY TO HANDLE  SOLD

The Rampage 38 Express cruiser offers something for everyone. Very easy to handle from the single central helm station and controlled by electronic engine gear shifts. She isn't locked into just one category but can equally be used as a day boat for scooting across to Parker Point with a bunch of friends, out to the continental shelf to troll for marlin, or spend a week away with all the comforts of home. In many ways you could compare her with a Riviera 4000 Offshore, very similar use.

This particular vessel is a great example. She has been well cared for by successive owners. Her engine room is very easily accessed and this probably contributes to why it is so immaculate. A couple of other stand outs for me is the headroom. Many of my customers struggle with head height and bed length, the Rampage 38 has plenty of clearance and a master bed longer than most.

The rear deck is big! With below deck fish boxes removed there is a lot of storage space beneath. The fibreglass finish floor is very low maintenance and she comes with carpet if you are chasing more of a loungey feel. For the fisho, it is easily cleaned. A live bait tank is inbuilt into the transom. I'm not much of a fisherman myself but find this to be perfect for storing the snorkelling gear. Once you anchor, there is a euro style awning which stretches across to shade the whole deck.

For the Chardonnay set there is a wetbar located at the front of the rear deck. Two iceboxes are positioned either side. If you're a fisherman then the wetbar becomes a tackle centre for preparing rigs and baits.

As you will see from the video, the helm area lifts at the press of a button to reveal the engines, genset, watermaker and everything associated with running the ship.

Below deck the timberwork and upholstery is still in fantastic condition. As already mentioned there is amazing headroom throughout. The bathroom is a complete fibreglass moulding so very easy to maintain and clean. There are four deck hatches allowing plenty of light and airflow into the cabin.

Standing at the helm you have a 360 degree view. There is a helm chair included but not shown in the images. Her current owners enjoy the space with this removed. Once you set the auto pilot you can sit in the chair to starboard and relax anyway. I would find more value in replacing the helm chair permanently with a table as this is a very sociable area and ideal for lounging and taking in the vista.

This is a relatively low maintenance craft, simply wash her down with fresh water and a chamois at the end of the day and step off. Polish her a few times a year and one annual engine service and antifoul. Not varnish or teak decks to worry about. Great for those of us who are time poor.
