Ranger 40 Flybridge Aft cabin

Karma Daze is a very room 40ft flybridge cruiser set up for extended cruising. Currently whale watching in Hervey Bay but normally moored at Calypso Bay marina. She has gone through extensive renovations over the last 4 years including professional external painting which was a 2 month in-shed process. She was totally stripped down and sanded back and then multiple coats of 2 pack epoxy primer and 2 pack epoxy top coat were applied, final colour Snow White.

She was re-powered with 2 new Volvo Penta TAMD63 (370hp each) and hence has only done 1,070 hrs. She is very fuel efficient at cruising speed of 8/9 knots only using 15l/hr total at 1200/1350 revs, top speed 20knts.

On rear canopy there is 4 solar panels with 1400W capacity which power the 4 x Fullriver DC120 house batteries via Victron controller. Additionally the engine alternators charge the house batteries via automatic isolator. All backed up by new 3kva diesel generator and shore power.

There is a very large aft cabin with walkaround full size queen bed and new Acosa mattress. It has separate ensuite with toilet, shower/bath and vanity. It encorporates a Sani-Loo on-board sewerage treatment system which is a grade 3 system.

The galley has induction cooktop, microwave oven, double sink and 2 Engel upright STF100F fridges which can be either fridge or freezer and are very efficient. There is a 50l hot water system which is efficiently heated via engine heat exchanger or shore power.

Up front is a V bed with cupboard and drawer storage and there is adjacent toilet, vanity and shower.

The flybridge is very room and can seat up to 8 people and the rear deck has ample space to sit, eat, fish and cook on the gas BBQ. At rear is new swim platform, hot/cold shower and Skip tender with 10hp Mercury outboard.

There is Side-Power bow thruster, Bennet trim tabs, Icom VHF marine radio, Furuno depth sounder/ fish finder, Simrad autopilot and Marine Protection Systems Electrolysis Blocker.

There is capacity for 1400l of fuel and 700l of water.
