Designed by New Zealander Ron Given who has over 50 years of designing, sailing and racing catamarans both inshore and offshore, Baraka is purpose designed and built as a solid, beautiful and sea worthy powercat capable of taking you all around Australia, the South Pacific and beyond. Baraka was built and launched by Marrott Castellat in 2002 in Western Australia. She then voyaged to South Australia across the great Australian Bight where she stayed for a few years. In 2020 she voyaged from South Australia to the Sunshine
Coast through the Southern Ocean, Bass Straight and up the east coast through all weather conditions, proving to be a great sea boat. Baraka is the perfect cruising and live aboard power catamaran.
