Built for the Southern Ocean and refined through decades of voyaging, Rosinante is a steel Adams 40 cutter-rigged yacht designed to go the distance. Her robust construction, shallow draft keel with centreboard, and thoughtful rigging make her equally at home rounding Cape Horn or navigating European canals.
Launched in 1989 after a meticulous build and fit-out, she has completed a full circumnavigation--including the Chilean Archipelago, Cape Horn, Caribbean, Atlantic, Baltic, W. European canals, and Cape of Good Hope, and multiple Tasman Sea crossings. With a shallow draft, windvane steering, comprehensive electronics, and a self-sufficient galley, she's ready for serious offshore passage-making or extended liveaboard cruising.
Whether you're planning high-latitude expeditions or coastal escapes, Rosinante offers the rare combination of seaworthiness, comfort, and proven performance. A true ocean voyager with a story--and the specs--to match.
THIS IS A SPECIAL BOAT with the pedigree, equipment, and soul to take you there.
