Beneteau First 375 ~ Exceptional Cruising Inventory

Beneteau First 375 - Resolute

Designed by renowned naval architect Jean Berret, the Beneteau First 375 is a classic yacht with timeless lines and an enduring reputation as one of Beneteau's most successful designs.

The First 375 strikes an excellent balance between comfortable cruising and lively sailing performance. She is fast, responsive and rewarding to sail, while still providing the accommodation and practicality required for extended cruising.

On the water, the 375 is a genuine sailor's yacht. She tracks beautifully to windward, has a well-balanced helm and is surprisingly easy to manage short-handed. With the running rigging led back to the cockpit and the primary winches and mainsheet conveniently positioned close to the helm, the boat is set up for enjoyable and uncomplicated sailing.

Simply put, the First 375 is a lot of fun to sail.

~ Well Equipped for Cruising ~

Resolute has been thoughtfully equipped for cruising and is particularly well suited to exploring the WA coastline.

Up forward is an oversized Muir anchor windlass, with 50 metres of 10mm chain and a 20kg Rocna anchor. At the stern, substantial davits provide secure storage for the dinghy and outboard, while a custom stainless-steel swim and boarding platform makes getting aboard from the dinghy easy.

The stern is also equipped with three solar panels and a wind generator, providing an excellent source of renewable power for the yacht's onboard systems. The setup allows Resolute to spend extended periods away from shore power, making her particularly well suited to cruising in remote locations.

~ Warm and Practical Interior ~

Inside, Resolute has plenty of character, with extensive natural timber creating a warm and inviting interior.

The saloon comfortably accommodates six for dinner, with a large folding table and generous seating. Both saloon settees are fitted with lee cloths, providing secure and comfortable sea berths when underway.

Numerous opening hatches provide excellent ventilation, while the clear sliding sunroof brings plenty of natural light into the saloon.

There is also a dedicated wine storage compartment incorporated into the saloon table -- a fitting touch for a French yacht.

~ Well Equipped Galley ~

The U-shaped galley is one of the practical highlights of the First 375. Its layout provides excellent bracing when cooking underway, regardless of which tack the yacht is sailing on.

Equipment includes a Smev three-burner gas stove, oven and grill, together with upgraded extra-deep stainless-steel sinks.

A saltwater foot pump helps conserve fresh water, while a filter on the main tap provides filtered drinking water.

~ Comfortable Accommodation ~

Resolute provides accommodation for extended cruising with two private double cabins.

The aft cabin features a particularly generous double berth extending beneath the cockpit floor and past the centreline of the yacht. There is ample storage, together with good ventilation through a hatch opening into the cockpit.

Forward, the master cabin features a large, comfortable foam mattress, excellent ventilation through the large opening hatch above the berth and useful storage on either side.

~ Modern Electronics and Navigation ~

Resolute has an impressive and well-integrated suite of modern electronics.

At the helm is a Raymarine HybridTouch chartplotter with Navionics Australia/New Zealand charts, supported by a Raymarine EV-200 autopilot with P70 control head and a powerful HyProDrive hydraulic/electric linear actuator.

The yacht is also equipped with:
o Raymarine VHF radio with DSC
o Vesper Marine AIS transponder
o NMEA 2000 network backbone
o SeaTalk/NMEA 0183 converter
o Networked wind, speed and depth instruments
o Wi-Fi connectivity for transmitting network data to a laptop or tablet

The electronics have been thoughtfully integrated, allowing the various navigation systems to communicate and share information across the network.

~ Meticulously Maintained and Updated ~

The current owners have done an excellent job maintaining and updating Resolute, with a number of significant improvements and maintenance items completed recently.

Recent upgrades include:
o New canvas work -- 2026
o New house batteries -- 2026
o New EPIRB -- 2026
o New offshore flares -- 2026
o New inflatable dinghy -- 2025
Recent maintenance includes:
o Engine and outboard service -- 2026
o Engine alignment -- 2026
o New cutlass bearing -- 2026
o Stuffing box repacked -- 2026
o Keel refurbishment -- 2026
o Plus additional routine maintenance and improvements

The current owners have enjoyed cruising Resolute to Lancelin and Rottnest Island, while the previous owners cruised extensively along the Western Australian coastline, including voyages north to Exmouth and the Montebello Islands.

This is a yacht that has been actively cruised, well maintained and continually improved, rather than simply equipped for cruising. The combination of recent upgrades, ongoing maintenance and genuine cruising history makes Resolute a particularly attractive proposition for anyone looking for a yacht ready to continue exploring the WA coast.

Well-equipped Beneteau First 375s like Resolute are increasingly difficult to find.
