PRICE REDUCED this Roberts 44 centre cockpit Ketch (hull only) has just been repainted, antifouled and put back in the water Nov 2025. The hull looks to be in good condition, a professional quality build inside and out. The windows are ready for replacing, the new windows are on site ready to be installed. The engine was removed for servicing and never returned, from what I understand it was a 49hp Ford Thames diesel engine and a Borg Waner gear box. The rigging was removed by a previous owner it is available for re installation. The current owner used this boat as a part time live a board when she came out for a full hull make over including sandblasting fairing in parts and re painting. The Roberts 44 is great layout with (approx 6'7"head room). The yachts configuration makes it perfect as a live a board or blue water cruiser, with its generous double Vberth, double aft cabin, and a bunk room mid ships to port. The galley is well appointed with a large fridge and heaps of bench space. The saloon has plenty of seating and a large table to accommodate family and friends. This boat is being sold as is where is hull only. Information from a survey in 2002 suggests the initial paint system on the steel work inside and out was a two pack primer and topcoat the inside painted in a tar based paint and still looks to be in good condition. As a project boat all the surfaces are reasonably easy to get to and once completed it will be a the perfect quality built blue water cruiser capable of anything.
