The Catalina 36 MkII is a legendary 36-foot coastal cruiser produced from 1994 to 2005. It builds on the immense success of the original Mark I by adding a modernized sugar-scoop transom with a swim platform, a wider aft beam carried further back, a more spacious cockpit, and a reconfigured, comfortable quarter-berth cabin below deck.
Texas is an easily sailed, comfortable coastal cruiser. The layout is very comfortable and features 2 double cabins, a clever fold away table, a large cockpit with table, a furling mainsail and genoa and a very low hours engine. Texas features the winged keel which only draws 1.35m but still gives the boat good perfortmance. The share syndicate has only 3 owners and is very cost effective with outgoings of only $1,500 per quarter. Texas is not a high use boat and this share arrangement will suit a casual user wishing to enjoy Rottnest and coastal cruising at a very reasonable outlay.
The boat is in good condition and has been regularly maintained.
