Lagoon 55

Sea Hunt Marine Brokers are proud to present this 1992 Lagoon 55 to the market.

This vessel has a lot of "WOW" factor. In any anchorage this is the vessel that the eyes are drawn to. It is a spectacular and elegant looking vessel and it looks like it's doing 12 knots sitting at anchor.

The vessel has been doing long-term ocean charters with paying guests and it's interior has been modified to sleep up to 14 individuals in 5 cabins mostly in single bunks. The cosmetic finish is utilitarian and practical. It is not a luxuriously finished yacht. The interior could do with a cosmetic make-over mainly in the sleeping cabins. However that is by choice as the vessel has just arrived from a safe 5,000 mile voyage and can continue as is. The vessel is very functional for the purpose it has been used for.

It is a rare opportunity to acquire an early Lagoon 55 S-version (Build No. 18 out of 20), built by CNB Bénéteau in France. This model is among the last in the series, with only a limited number produced, and is known for its exceptionally strong construction, designed for charter racing, ocean sailing, and heavy-duty use.
The vessel represents the original Lagoon philosophy: robust build quality, excellent offshore capabilities, and generous interior volume. The combination of performance and comfort makes her ideal for both long-distance cruising and extended stays onboard.

The spacious and bright saloon offers 360-degree view, while the large cockpit and generous outdoor areas provide excellent spaces for relaxing on board. The boat is equipped with a custom-built bimini that covers the entire cockpit, including the helms, creating a large and inviting lounge area that can be enjoyed in all weather conditions. Additionally, the boat comes with a large and robust dinghy in good condition - ideal for diving and watersports.

The boat is being sold as-is, where-is. Some maintenance and repairs is required to bring the vessel back to perfect condition. It is presented in functional, seaworthy operating condition as evidence by it's recent Pacific crossing.

Currently located in the Philippines and situated at a boatyard in Carmen Bay, Cebu Island, where it can be inspected. Skilled workers at the boatyard can perform the required work at an affordable price. The labour rate is one of the cheapest in the world but the work and finish achieved are of an international standard. The boat is priced for a quick sale.

For the right buyer, this represents an exciting chance to acquire a legendary Lagoon catamaran at a compelling price. It's an excellent choice for adventurous sailors, whether your ambition is circumnavigation or extended cruising in remote destinations.

The boat is in seaworthy condition at the moment and can be sailed away. It is packed with lots of very good equipment and everything needed for continued cruising. But it's location and the cheap labour rates available make for a good opportunity to do a cosmetic upgrade and some equipment checks and maintenance.

Comes complete with an exceptional seaworthy dinghy and outboard, 4 complete sets of dive gear, Dive-compressor and 2 sea-kayaks. Ideal set-up to continue in it's current mode of ocean or local charters.

Located only 35 km from Mactan International Airport, an easy place to access.
