One proud and caring owner since 2009, he has lived aboard and cruised continously since then and has covered ten of thousands of miles on the worlds oceans but his advancing age means he's hanging up his sea-boots and allowing another sailor their chance to cruise to distant shores on this ready-to-go cruising machine.

The Outremer was designed as a sailors boat, hence simplicity and practicality was foremost in the designers brief. Tiller steered for better "feel" and enjoyment at the helm. And simple systems make for a better cruising lifestyle. The vessel is fast, responsive and a joy to sail and yet this is combined with a level of safety and seaworthiness that is expected by round-the-world sailors.

But that is not to say the Outremer lacks in creature comforts. She is well appointed and luxurious and offers a delightful airy and light living space and well thought-out layout with two double sleeping berths and a well equipped galley. Generous tankage as well as a 60L/P/H watermaker. This makes for a self-sufficient and comfortable sailing home that sails quicker and better than many and most other cats of her size.

Continously ugraded as he cruised, the owner has not spared on the upkeep of the vessel, with new engines and legs in 2017 and still low hours, and new rigging in 2021. The sail wardrobe is in excellent shape with some near-new sails in the inventory and the electronics and electrics are up to date and include lithium batteries and all the navigation electronics available.
