TRIDENT (formerly Dream) was originally commissioned by Hong Kong industrialist Frang Pong, a well-known figure in Hong Kong yachting circles whose successful racing yachts have long carried the renowned Jelik name.

Built by the highly respected Ta Shing Yacht Building Company, widely regarded as one of Taiwan's premier yacht builders, the Taswell 49 has earned an enviable reputation as a robust and capable offshore cruising yacht, designed and built to comfortably undertake extended bluewater passages and circumnavigate the globe.

Accommodation is generous and thoughtfully arranged, featuring three private staterooms and two heads, each with separate shower stalls. The spacious main saloon offers a practical U-shaped galley to starboard and a comfortable U-shaped dinette to port, with ample storage located beneath the seating.

Below decks, the beautifully crafted mahogany interior showcases the exceptional quality of Ta Shing's cabinetry and joinery. Natural light and ventilation are outstanding throughout, thanks to large overhead windows, traditional dorade vents, and six deck prisms that cast a stunning spectrum of light into the living spaces, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
