Titan 36

With Sydney 36 level of performance, but with a much higher level interior fit out this production Titan 36 built by the late Peter Milner could be the perfect racer/cruiser. Two of its owners have been master shipwrights, so this is a yacht that has always been meticulously maintained. It has an extensive Hood sail inventory, Raymarine instruments including a v7 MFD/Plotter and the Nanni engine was new in 2022.

Designed by Bakewell-White this is a rewarding yacht to race with good all-round performance. The sail plan has a powerful mainsail and short overlap headsails and there are symmetric and asymmetric spinnakers.

The cockpit has a single large wheel, tackle backstay, six Lewmar winches and mainsheet traveller. There is a huge cockpit locker and also under floor locker with access to the steering gear. For weekends away there is a hot & cold transom shower, gas bayonet fitting, outboard bracket and a swim ladder.

Down below there is an L-shaped dinette to port with a saloon bench seat to starboard, the L-shaped galley adjacent to the companionway with the nav station opposite. Forward, the separate head is to port with storage lockers opposite and then a conventional v-berth.

Based on an earlier trial certificate the IRC rating is estimated at 1.075, which provides a good indication of this yachts sailing ability, while at the same time offering true cruising comfort below.
