Bavaria Cruiser 41 - Upgraded for liveaboard coastal cruising

Whether it's relaxed coastal passages, extended family cruising or the occasional club race, 'Tandanya' has proven the versatility of the Bavaria Cruiser 41 and its continuing popularity.

With a racing history and now set up for coastal cruising, 'Tandanya' offers a comfortable life on board with lots of electrical upgrades, near new rigging and a well maintained and servcied engine and sail drive.

Accommodation is provided in three comfortable cabins, making 'Tandanya' equally suited to family cruising or accommodating guests. There is an extensive sail wardrobe on board, however the current owners enjoyed the liveaboard life cruising the East Coast of Australia with a young child.

Since taking ownership (2nd owners) in 2024, the current owners have made meaningful investments to improve safety, reliability, and off-grid capability. 'Tandanya' will no doubt appeal to others with similar goals for coastal cruising. Most notably, she benefits from a significantly upgraded electrical system including lithium batteries, a Victron 3000W inverter, upgraded charging systems, and a 400W solar array (with wifi router and Starlink) providing strong autonomy for extended cruising.

The standing rigging was professionally replaced in mid-2024, with supporting upgrades to key running rigging components, mast track cars, and associated sailing systems including cockpit windlass controls. These represent some of the most significant capital improvements typically required in this vessel age bracket. There is a papertrail (of receipts) to support 'Tandanya's cruising inventory.

The engine (approx 2,600 hours) has been regularly serviced with supporting maintenance history from original ownership, including saildrive servicing and water pump rebuild.

Significant upgrades / Key features include:

- Standing and running rigging renewed (2024-2025)
- 3-cabin, 2-head layout with upgraded in-line galley
